Prompted by a Trumpian zealotry around American Energy and American Coal, I embarked on a journey to understand my family's history in Pennsylvania coal-mining country and learned my family's stories that go beyond their contribution to the American economy.
Anne Marie Ward is not a New York Times Best-Selling Author, but she is living in New York, attending Fordham University. She has a major in Comparative Literature and English with a Creative Writing concentration and Spanish minor. She is not a coal expert, nor is she a genealogy or politics expert, but she does her best to care about things.
